At Sports Medicine Clinic, we welcome Self-managed and Plan-managed clients as a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) healthcare provider. NDIS was first launched in 2013 for all Australians with disabilities.
Self-managed & Plan-managed NDIS clients
Both self-managed and plan-managed clients of NDIS can choose their own healthcare providers! Sports Medicine Clinic can accommodate your NDIS Plan.
What kind of client am I?
- Self-managed clients have control and responsibility over their NDIS funding. They can choose their own healthcare professionals and as such, pay for them, while keeping track of invoices.
- Plan-managed clients also have control over their funding and can choose their own healthcare provider. The main difference however is plan managed clients appoint an NDIS Plan Manager provider who looks after the administrative side of things, including paying for your healthcare, keeping track of the invoices and overseeing treatment budgets.
How Sports Medicine Clinic can assist your NDIS Plan
- Assessment and diagnosis – Our Clinic can help asses your individual health needs and disability requirements.
- Treatment – our multidisciplinary team of Chiros, Osteos, and Podiatrists can offer a wide range of treatments for your needs.
- Support and plan coordination – Sports Medicine Clinic can help with supporting and advising your plan for optimal care and support.
